All my life I have worked with my hands, A gift I give God many thanks for. I was a stone mason in my younger days.
In 1995, I went to work for Geoff Stelling at Stelling Banjo Works and became part of a small shop that built world class banjos.
There I had the opportunity to work with several very fine luthiers and developed the knowledge and skills to move forward in building not only banjos, but mandolins and guitars and the repairing of fine stringed instruments.
In 2003 While starting Bryce Instruments, I was privaledged to be asked by Geoff Stelling to take over building Stelling Mandolins as Jiri Lebeda was no longer doing so.
Bryce Instruments is now a full time building and repair shop. I love what I do and I think it shows in my work.
At Bryce Instruments, I am proud to offer quality acoustic instruments for the musician who appreciates a hand built instrument.
I mostly build custom instruments to order but have a standard line when time allows.
I am taking orders now for 2015
